Good Earth school is based on the philosophy of J.Krishnamoorthy and strives to bring
about an environment in which the child learns in freedom, without fear and without
comparison. Established in 1993, they were in need of a replacement for their
delappidated entrance gate.
We suggested to have a bamboo gate not more than 5′ in height with exposed brick-work
pillars, to make the entrance more ‘soft’ and natural as opposed to a iron gate, and more humane, non-imposing and welcoming. The gate itself was built by Piyush Manush, an entepreneur working on bamboo products in Salem, TamilNadu.
